A March For Women's Safety

As mentioned yesterday, the rainy season is making life difficult for people living in poor areas around Bangalore and some people are on edge. There has been a recent uptick in violence against women and girls in particular. In response, a group of about 2000 men, including many religious and community leaders, arranged a march against such violence. Raju joined in the march which called on the government to provide better security and protection for women and girls living in slums and under-developed parts of the city.

Please keep the people living in the slums around Bangalore in your prayers. Please pray that people not give into their inner demons and for safety for the vulnerable.
