Because the areas Comfort India Trust works in are very poor and the needs of the people they help are very basic, a little help can go a long way. For example, for with just $65, Comfort India Trust was able to provide saris to 40 widows living in the brush who lacked clothing. $15 was used to provide plates an eating utensils for children living in a nearby community who had none. $100 provided blankets for a community living out in the open and in make-shift shelters who otherwise had none.
