"I was naked and you clothed me . . ."
While holding service in a small community in a remote area outside of Bangalore, Raju encountered a disturbing and heartbreaking situtuation. There were a group of widows living out in the open without proper clothing. They would not come to his service and were not integrated into the rest of the community due to their situation. So Raju reached out to friends in the west to raise funds to buy these women sarees to cover themselves with. With $110 in donations, Raju and Asha were able to provide 40 widows with proper clothing and a measure of dignity.
