Most evenings Asha travels to a slum in Bangalore where she provides basic education to children whose parents cannot afford to send them to school.
Providing Christian Education
​
Raju runs several schools of Biblical Education, including in remote areas where such study is difficult to find. He teaches a hopeful gospel of the victory of the cross which is in sharp contrast to the prosperity gospel and the gospel of wrath which other ministers build empires on.
Inter-religious Dialogue
​
​The area Comfort India Trust Operates in is almost entirely Hinud and religious minorities (including Christians) frequently face hostility. Raju reaches out to Hindu and other religious leaders regularly to dialogue and build relationships. He uses the model from Paul's speech to the Athenians to share the truth of Jesus and the oneness of mankind that we all share in common.
Humanitarian Aid

​While India is a rapidly developing country, millions of people remain stuck in deep poverty. Whenever possible, Raju and Asha seek to provide basic needs to the people they encounter. Be it a meal, a sari, medicine, blankets or even just treats for the children. As poor people and orphans themselves, Asha and Raju are able to serve people in the most dire circumstances with respect and dignity.
