Blanketed in God's Love
Although India is a rapidly developing country which has made huge progress in lifting its people out of poverty, many millions are still living in extreme poverty, lacking even basic comforts many of us take for granted. After donors generously provided $140 to provide for people in need to Raju and Asha, they asked one of the communities they work in what they needed most. They said blankets. In this area, many of the people have no shelter at all or live in make shift shelters that offer very little protection from the elements. Something as simple as a blanket to sleep under or to cover themselves when cold is an enormous source of comfort in a difficult existance.
